The new product family BOS 18MR features an integrated angle mirror made of scratch-resistant glass which is permanently attached to the housing. All models are built into an M18 metal housing (nickel plated brass), fully polyurethane potted and use a visible red light. Since the optical head has no lateral overhang, installation from the front is no problem. The sensors are equipped with several LED’s. When the output is switched, the yellow LED on the sensor body comes on as well as a 360° visible LED on the connector body. The green LED indicates sufficient function reserve, making calibration and alignment easier. This also allows contamination to be detected and eliminated in time.
