The BIS C-60R-002-08P-05 system is designed for simple applications of the BIS C read/write system. It is configured as a readonly system and provides the 8×8 bits of information in parallel format without additional components. Code tags used are type BIS C-122, BIS C-103, BIS C-130, BIS C-117, BIS C-128 and BIS C-108.

Before a read operation can take place, the data carrier must be pre-programmed starting with address 0. A total of 8 bytes corresponding to 64 bits of user data can be programmed.
